Privacy Policy

PM Cram is built to respect your privacy. This policy explains, in plain language, what information the app does and does not handle. The short version: PM Cram has no user accounts, no ads and no trackers, and your study data stays on your device.

Who we are

Information we do NOT collect

We do not:

• require you to create an account or provide a name, email address or phone number to use the app;
• show advertising or embed advertising SDKs;
• use analytics or tracking SDKs to profile your behaviour;
• collect your location, contacts, photos, or other personal files;
• sell or share personal data with data brokers.

Information stored on your device

Your study progress, settings, saved cards, and preferences are stored locally on your device using the operating system’s standard local storage. This information never leaves your device, is not transmitted to us, and is not accessible to us. If you delete the app, this local data is removed with it.

Purchases

PM Cram offers a single one-time in-app purchase (a non-consumable “full library unlock”). Purchases are processed securely by the Apple App Store or Google Play — we never see or receive your payment card or billing details.

To deliver your purchase and keep it working across your devices (for example, when you tap “Restore purchase”), the app uses RevenueCat, a purchase-management service. RevenueCat processes limited purchase-related information such as your purchase/transaction history, an anonymous app-generated identifier, the store country, and basic device information. It does not receive your name or App Store / Google account credentials. RevenueCat acts as our service provider for this purpose.

Study content downloads

The full study library is delivered from a public GitHub repository. When the app downloads content, GitHub (as the host) may process standard technical information such as your IP address as part of serving those files, in line with GitHub’s own privacy statement. We do not attach any identity to these requests.

Notifications

If you enable study reminders, PM Cram schedules local notifications on your device. These are generated on-device; no notification data is sent to us or any third party. You can turn reminders off at any time in the app or in your device settings.

UK & EU users (UK GDPR / GDPR)

For users in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area: the only personal data associated with the app is the limited purchase information processed by our providers (Apple, Google and RevenueCat) as described above. Where we act as a controller for that purchase data, the lawful basis is performance of a contract — delivering and restoring the purchase you made — and, where applicable, our legitimate interest in preventing fraud and abuse. You have the right to access, correct, or erase your personal data and to object to or restrict its processing. Because we do not operate accounts, most requests are handled directly through the relevant store or through RevenueCat; you can also contact us at ForgeDeck@pm.me.

If you are in the UK and have an unresolved concern, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at https://ico.org.uk/. EEA users may contact their local data-protection authority.

Children’s privacy

PM Cram is a general-audience study tool intended for adults preparing for a professional certification. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data security

Because your study data stays on your device and we do not operate accounts or servers that hold your personal data, the primary protection for your information is your own device’s security. Purchase processing is handled by Apple, Google and RevenueCat under their respective security practices.

Your rights

We do not hold a personal profile about you, so there is generally nothing for us to export or delete on our side. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves or as legal requirements change. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “Last updated” date.
